With D&M's CyberDEF resources and any resource editor, you can create fully-functioning interface items with little or no coding. CyberDEFs run in your resource editor, so you can see them work immediately with default data in them!
Here are some interfaces you can create in a snap:
• The vanilla text lists you see in dialogs
• The fancy name lists you see in Apple's Finder
• Growable, scrolling text fields in a text editor
• Display fields in text readers
• Offscreen-drawn pictures in a graphics viewer
• Picts that "slide" when smaller than their rect
• Three-dimensional, clickable buttons
• Everything you see in this window
Here's why you'd want to use D&M's CyberDEFs:
• They eliminate the need to write a lot of code
• The code-writing they eliminate is tedious
• CyberDEFs can be shared by all windows in an app
• Default contents can be set in the resource fork
• Most "programming" is done in a resource editor
• CyberDEFs take up very little space (6-12K each)
• CyberDEFs' licensing fees are very reasonable
NOTE: Although this reader application doesn't allow you to watch a CyberDEF working in your resource editor, the actual CyberDEFs package comes with this capability.
